You are looking at a very nice microscope with a video camera and monitor. The scope is a binocular scope, and has it's own light source. The 2 eyepieces are Olympus WF.10X Bi type (one is missing it's snap on hood). They move from side to side to adjust for the proper eye spacing. They also rotate for focusing. I think these 2 terms are interpupilary distance and the diopter setting. There is a locking knob that when loosened allows you to rotate the entire eyepiece assemby, or remove it. Behind the eyepieces is the tube where you place the camera lens. There is a 2nd knob that you pull out to view the video image. This entire assembly works fine. Beneth the eyepiece assembly is the lens turrett that can hold 4 lenses. It presently has 1 with a cap installed, 1 with an Olympus #421570 PL20 0.40 0.17 lens, 1 Olympus #411771 PL60 0.80 0.17 lens and the 4th socket is empty (no cap or lens). This assembly works fine also. The table that you put the slides on has a spring loaded clamp for the slides and a graduated scale. There is an adjustment knob that points down from the bottom of the table. It adjusts your X and Y axis' and is very sensitive. You can really pinpoint items with this very fine adjustment. This assembly is also in great working condition. Under the table is the adjustable light reflector. This unit has a built in lamp with an on off switch and dimmer slide (graduated from 0 to 10). The light comes into this adjustable and replaceable Olympus lens and can be moved up and down to adjust the light. The lens that is in this unit has a thin circle of light. This assembly is also in great working condition however the scale for the adjustment for the lamp lens is a label and is peeling a little (very minor). The focus dials have a large diameter outer knob for coarse adjustments and a smaller inner knob for fine adjustment. There is a pair of knobs on each side of the base, the one on the right hand side is graduated from 0 to 180. On the left side focus ring is a lever that sets a stop so you can lower the table, put in another slide and return to the same place. On the frame of the scope it read CHBS. The scope is in very very good condition and everything works fine. The camera is a Panasonic model WV-BL200. It has an on off switch, Auto iris, AGC, a GEN-LOCK connector (BNC type) and a video connector (also BNC type) The camera is in great near new working condition. The monitor is a Panasonic model TR-930 B. 8-1/2" screen measured diagonally. If the screen looks funny in the scan, it is because it is on and a digital camera makes it look that way. Also there is a reflection of my lamp at the top of the screen. It has an on off button, H-hold, V-hold. bright and contrast controls on the front (as well as v-size and V-lin adjustments recessed into the case). On the back there are 2 BNC type connectors for video in and video out. The monitor is in good used condition (has a couple of scratches on the outer case) and works fine. This entire system came from a doctor's office and every thing works great. Includes a cord that goes from the camera to the monitor and an Olympus cover for the scope. I need an orbital shaker that can function at 40 RPM and that is large enough to hold a slide tray (about 8" x 11"). Our need is not that great so I don't want to spend too much - it doesn't have to be new, pretty, or temperature controlled!
