Intellegent electronics can detect which rotor is installed and prevent the unit from exceeding the rotor design parameters. Several other safety features are built in, including "out of balance" and "out of temp Range" conditions. Timer range is 0 to 99 minutes with a "hold" position for continuous runs. Also has an adjustable "breaking" control for smooth stopping. Accepts a wide range of rotors but the one which is included is a 12 place, fixed angle, 45 Deg, which accepts 10 to 15mL tubes, with the buckets which are installed. Many other adapters and rotors are available from Fisher.

This unit has a built-in Shell Freezer of about 1200mL Capacity and a 3" opening for connection to the included 24 Place Manifold or the Drying Chamber, which are also included. The unit is equipped with a Precision, DC195, Direct Drive Vacuum Pump and two Refrigeration Compressors; one for the Shell Freezer and one for the Manifold/Chamber Condenser. Pump and compressor switches are located on the front panel as are the Temperature and Vacuum Guages. The Manifold is a 24 Port Unit with 1/2" valves and the Chamber is an 18 Port Unit with a mixture of 1/2" & 3/4" Valves. There are six valves missing from the Chamber and will have to be acquired by the winning bidder. The entire Drying System is mounted on casters for portability.
This unit is in very good condition in both functionality and appearance and appears to have been used very little.

21260 Tektronix 5000 Series Oscilloscopes
I have an old Tektronix oscilloscope composed by 5113 Dual Beam Storage, 5A26 Dual Diff. Amplifier, 5A14N Four channel Amplifier, and a 5B10N Time Base Amplifier. The oscilloscope had a problem (maybe a short circuit somewhere) and is not operating anymore. I contacted Tektronix and they told me the Series 5000 have been discontinued since 1996 and the company no longer have the instruction manuals for these four products, which contain the schematics and parts lists. Since I leave in Manaus, Amazonas State, Brazil, I don't have an easy way to abtain the manual and sending the equipment outside Brazil is quite expensive. The oscilloscope is quite important for our research and in order to fix this equipment here I'm in a great need of the schematics for the equipment listed. We are a small research group in the Chemistry department of University of Lagos Nigeria. Our priority list are as follows:

2. An IR spectrophotometer with its printer and accessories. Any brand name would be appropriate so long as the price is within our budget.
